Welcome to the new Mentorship site
We're excited to have one place for everything happening in Worship Mentorship! You'll be able to find updates, upcoming dates, and music resources for each of our groups. Just select your team (Sr. High, Jr. High, or 567) to see what you're working on and access your music.
One of the things that's been exciting this year is seeing how each of our groups is growing. Our Sr. High students are regularly leading worship, our Jr. High students are learning to work together as a worship team, and our 567 students are building those foundational skills.
In years past, we've typically had everyone learning the same songs and then brought them together to lead on a Sunday morning. But as Mentorship has grown, our groups are now working on different things based on where they are in their development. So we're finding new ways to give each group opportunities to use what they're learning, while still planning moments for everyone to come together!
Some Dates to Save!
- November 8: Mentorship Vocalists (5th–9th)
- December 9: Jr. High Band (Students Worship)
- January 24: 567 Instrumentalists
- January 31: Jr. High Band & Vocalists
We're also planning a Sunday morning later in the spring when all of our Mentorship students will come together!
I'm grateful for our mentors who invest in these students each week and for you allowing us to be part of their growth. Our heart is about so much more than learning songs. We want to help students develop their gifts and learn to use them to serve the Lord and His church, both now and wherever God leads them.
Excited about what's ahead!
Chris
